I just wanted to wave ecstatically at you all! Thanks for following little old me. In celebration, I thought I'd share 5 bookish things about myself. Away we go!

1. I am a hugely eclectic reader

I read nearly everything. I'm not huge on non-fiction, but everything else? Fair game! I love to get lost in a story, whether it's written for 10 year olds, or for adults. Doesn't matter! I'll be there to read it.

2. I am a book hoarder.

Okay, so I'm sure this is true of a lot of us. It's tough to let go of your books, especially when you love them to death. I've been getting better. Gifting things away here and there. Still, I have a massive personal library and I'm not ashamed of it!

3. I LOVE Science Fiction and Fantasy

Seriously, these are my favorite genres. I used to be a lot more hardcore in Sci Fi. Now I mostly read the lighter stuff. Fantasy though? Love it to the ends of the earth. Elves, Knights, Werewolves... it's all what I love. My new obsession is Urban Fantasy. Most specially Ilona Andrews. Awesome author! Check her out!

4. I don't like to lend out my books.

I admit it. Oh sure, I'll gift a book to you. Lend it though? Nope. I don't bend spines, or fold pages, and I'm always ridiculously terrified that someone I lend a book to will do just those things. Don't hurt my babies!!!

5. The library is my second home.

As much as I love owning books, borrowing them is just as good! Especially when I can wander around, like a kid in a candy shop. I'll admit that I often take home armloads of books that I know I won't even have time for. It's just too tempting. So SHINY.
