I can't. I just can't.
I thought maybe listening to this as an audio book would make it a bit better, since when I tried to read this originally I was bored to tears. Truthfully, it only helped mildly. Poor narrator. She tried her hardest, and she's really quite good. This story just isn't great.
Flat characters. Tons of plot holes. (HOW do whip swords work?)
I'm finding something else to end the year on.
