I'm a bookworm of the highest caliber! If you see me, I'll probably be reading. There's nothing I love more than finding a good book, and then sharing it with the world!
So when I left for college in 2002, I had a ton of books that I wasn't able to fit into my dorm room, but also wasn't willing to get rid of. Keep in mind, I thought I was going to be a teacher, so these were going to be my classroom books. My mom dutifully boxed them for me, and put them in a closet. There they sat, for the last 13 years.
When I came home for Christmas, my sister mentioned that her friend wanted to know if I had any books for her classroom of 4th/5th graders. My brain went "DING! You have all those books you still haven't gone through!". And so, I did. Oh man, so many memories. SO MANY MEMORIES.
I kept but 12, and gave the rest to a new home with new readers.
The best part was finding these gems:
