That Moment When... (Part 2)
You get an email from an author who actually gets what it's like to be a reviewer. Who understands that you're a real person with a real life. Who realizes that reading isn't the only thing that you do (even though you wish that it was). An author who is respectful of you, and your time.
Those are the authors I'll go to the end of the Earth for. Whose books I'll read, without question, when they next come out. The ones who I'll clear a whole week for if they want it.
Respect. It's a mutual thing. Give it, get it.
